CUET is going to host a 3-day long international conference
Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) is going to host a three-day international conference on 'Mechanical Engineering and Renewable Energy' on December 12, 13 and 14.
This was announced on Tuesday (December 7) at the 'Meet the Press' event in the seminar room of CUET's Mechanical Engineering Department.
Apart from Bangladesh, at least 200 teachers, researchers, scientists, professionals and entrepreneurs from 10 countries including USA, Australia, Japan, India and Malaysia will participate in this conference for the sixth time. The conference will feature important research articles on renewable energy and sustainable development, as well as current issues in the world, on the topic of mechanics. A total of 146 research papers will be presented in 15 technical sessions at this year's conference.
Meet the press was attended by the co-chair of the conference's advisory council and Professor of Mechanical Engineering Dr Md. Tajul Islam, Professor of Conference Chair and Mechanical Engineering Dr. Sajal Chandra Banik, Chair of the Technical Committee and Professor of Mechanical Engineering Dr. Jamal Uddin Ahmed, Member of the Organizing Committee and Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering Dr. Abu Sadat Mohammad Sayem, Associate Professor Dr. Md. Mamun Rashid and lecturer Md. Afnan Hasan and Public Relations Officer Muhammad Rashedul Islam.
Deputy Minister for Education Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury will participate virtually in the inaugural function as the chief guest on December 12 at 11 am. Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET) Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Mohammad Rafiqul Alam will be a special guest on the occasion. On the closing day, Bangladesh University Grants Commission Member Professor Dr. Mohammad Alamgir will participate as the chief guest virtually.
